Well Data Labs makes an add-in available for Wellview v10.0+ so that your completions data can seamlessly sync between our two systems. Before installing the add-in, you should read this article to make sure you're aware of the various requirements.

Download the Files

You'll need to be a Well Data Labs admin, and your company will need to be authorized to download files by Well Data Labs. You'll see an option to Download on the menu under your user name in Well Data Labs. You can choose to use the WDL.Wellview.AddIn.msi installer or just use the compressed archive of files required for installation.

Install the Files

If you're using the installer, you'll need administrative access to your computer. We recommend that you test the installation in a 'sandbox' environment prior to attempting installation in your 'production' Wellview. You should be able to just follow the dialog windows during the installation process. Pay close attention to the folder you select to install the add-in to, following the example given by the installer.

If you're using the compressed archive, you'll need to place the *.dll files into the 'explorer' folder of your Wellview installation. The folder containing the mapping files should be placed into the same 'explorer' folder. In a default installation of Wellview, the folder path will be something like C:\peloton\Peloton\WellView {version} app\custom\add-ins\explorer

Note that the installer will check for a current installation of the WDL Wellview add-in. You can use this same installer to repair or remove the add-in from your Wellview environment if these actions are necessary.

Running the Add-in

Within Wellview, simply select a well and from the Add-ins menu item choose WDL Frac Job Import...
