Adjusting the Y-Axis on Charts

Updated 3 months ago

If you need to change the scale of a particular axis on a chart, you'll find options to change each axis' scale by selecting the Chart Options button on the toolbar. Here you can quickly change the minimum and maximum value for each axis.

In this example, we will change the range for the Slurry Rate channel to keep the curves separate from the Treating Pressure. You could also use this feature to emphasize an element's changing slope or to exclude metering spikes from the graph.

Click the “Wrench” button on the toolbar.

When the Chart Options window opens, Click Custom next to the Y-axis you would like to adjust and enter a new value. Click Save to see your changes reflected in the graph.

Notice how the Slurry Rate and  Treating Pressure curves are now separate making the chart much easier to read!

You can get back to the default axis values anytime by clicking Auto in the Chart Options window and clicking Save.
