FieldPro utilizes TCP to connect to the local network. You will need to select Generic TCP as the connection source when Configuring the WDL Real-time Client and go through those similar setup steps. If connecting via FieldPro, it will use Port 99 by default so you’ll just need to enter the IP ADDRESS.
1. In instances where you're connecting to FieldPro, one option needs to be turned on in FieldPro before the WDL Real-time Client can collect data. Under the ‘FIELDPRO Real Time Acquire Data Wizard’, you will need to make sure the option is selected to ‘Broadcast to TCP/IP.’
*This will need to be rechecked each time FieldPro is restarted for a new stage.
2. Click the green ‘Start’ Button
3. Be sure to re-check ‘Broadcast to TCP/IP’ option before each new stage but you can skip all the other setup steps by clicking on ‘Acquire Real Time Data Express’ after initial setup. If you are starting a new stream, you will need to start over on the ‘FIELDPRO Real Time Acquire Data Wizard’ setup steps.
