Updates & Improvements
- Quickly spot stage mapping gaps from the Job List page! Woot! We added a stage mappings task to the Job List, complete the task by placing start, end, breakdown, and ISIP flags for all your stages.
Bug Fixes
- Color by stage on Stage Comparison was preventing lines from being drawn and data from being shown. You can now color freely.

Updates and Improvements
- The Client version number has been updated from 0.00.1.0 to 0.12.0.0. That's an 8.1% increase!
- Changed from Client API V1 to Client API V2. See the "Client API V2" section for changes beyond the new number.
- Changes made to a stream (Name, Operator, Service Company) previously updated on a 20 minute timer. We realized that nobody likes waiting 20 minutes for for anything, so these changes will now occur immediately.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug which caused the client to not launch properly. This felt important, so now the client should launch every time you click the icon (unless it's already running).
Client API V2
- Client API V2 is able to handle multiple channel groups per stream. This will couple with upcoming server-side changes meaning you can change channel counts without breaking the stream. Don't touch that dial quite yet.
- Client API V2 allows users to close streams remotely from the browser. The client will automatically start a new stream when this happens. Neat!

Updates & Improvements
- Stay on Task with “Tasks.” Tasks have been added to the Job List to help improve data loading workflows. When there is a task to be done, you’ll see it on the list. More tasks are coming soon.
- You can now give gold stars for your favorite wells! Yes, we stole this idea from your 1st-grade teacher. Now on the following pages; Job View, Channel Mappings, Stage Mappings, Treatment Data, Job Summary, Stage Summary, Data Browser, Frac Review, and 1 Sec Export, you can star and (unstar) your favorite wells to sort them to the top of all job lists. Using this as part of your workflow will save you a ton of scrolling and searching effort.
- The colors used for the Pump Time by Day chart on Pad Review was making people's brains vibrate faster with every additional day. To help curb this, we updated the colors to something a little more gentle on the brain.
- Stage Comparison became jealous of Pad Review’s color changes, so we changed its color default to “Gradient Min-Max” to make it easier to read on initial load. We also asked Slurry Rate to appear when the chart is opened (in addition to Treating Pressure) since most people were turning it on anyways. Thank you Slurry Rate for gracing us with your presence.
- So many people have fallen in love with Multi-Well Timeline that we awarded it a place on the home dashboard. The acceptance speech was heartwarming.

Updates & Improvements
- Do you remember the Terms of Use that you agreed to when you first started using Well Data Labs? Well, we updated them. They now are more explicit in separating the terms of use that you, a human, have with Well Data Labs, and the agreement the organization you work for has with Well Data Labs. We also sent out an email that describes the changes in more detail. If you are interested in some light reading, here is a link to the new Terms of Use.
Bug Fixes
- We missed a spot. A few months ago, we added fleet to the Job Header, which means that you should have been able to filter it in the multi-job selector. It worked everywhere except for the Multi-Well Timeline. It works now.
- Proppant Subtotals on Stage Comparison was displaying all proppant channels, including the global fields. This made a mess of the chart, so we fixed it.
- There was a weird bug the preserved color by options between Stage Comparision and Multi-Well Timeline in a very problematic way. Problem solved.
