If you are installing the WDL Real-time client on a Windows 7 computer, follow the steps below:

First, you will need to unzip all of the contents of the wdl.rt.client archive folder. Double-click on the zipped folder.

Next, select Extract all files.

Select where you would like the files to be located and click Extract.

Double-click the wdl.rt.client shortcut.

If you do not have the .NET Framework installed, you will be prompted to install it.  Click Yes to install.  You will automatically be re-directed to the Microsoft .NET Framework installation site.

 

Click the Download .NET Framework button and follow the prompts for the install.  When the install is complete, you be asked to shut down and restart your computer.

 

Once your computer has restarted, click on the wdl.rt.client shortcut and the Real-time Client will launch, prompting you to enter the API KEY needed for loading data to Well Data Labs.

 

 

The next steps, after you get the Real-Time client running, is to select your connection type and create a new pad.
