First, what actually is Machine Learning?
Machine learning gives computers a framework to do what comes naturally to humans: learn from experience. A machine learning model is an algorithm that ingests data, finds patterns in that data, and produces a prediction.
Well Data Labs builds our own ML models!
WDL's Machine Learning models are trained to recognize events in high-frequency time-series frac data. This automation not only saves time, but also brings consistency across stages, wells, service companies, and operators. Engineers and executives can use our predictions to refine their operational efficiencies, and increase the ROI of their completions designs.
Our ML models are deployed to Well Data Labs as Power-Ups™ on the Stage Mappings, Job Summary, and Multi-Well Timeline pages of our core application. Click the green Power-Up Control Center button on the upper right-hand side of the page to view all available Power-Ups. Everyone has access to our Stage Mappings Power-Up, which flags the Stage Start Time, Stage End Time, ISIP and Breakdown of each stage.
